Job purpose:
Work closely with the Board, evolve and implement strategic and tactical plans, achieve operational results, protect and build the company’s brand and culture, ensure compliance to statutory, legal and internal control framework

Key Responsabilities:

  1. Strategy: Translate the mission, vision and objectives of the Board into strategic and tactical plans, execute strategic and tactical plans and correlate with annual operating budgets; submit annual plans to the Board for approval. Present the core values and vision to employees, protect the company’s brand and always act with integrity and in accordance with the law.
  2. Board: Implement Board recommendations. Inform the Boardof serious problems that appear with respect to clients, staff or regulatory authorities. Provide prompt, thorough, and accurate information to keep the Board appropriately informed of the organization’s financial position.
  3. Financial management: Strive to meet and exceed the financial and operational standards set by the Board, responsible for revenues, profitability and other operational and financial measures set for the company. Oversee staff in developing annual budgets that support operating plans and submits budgets for Board approval.
  4. Operational: Oversee the operations of organization and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Creates and maintains procedures for implementing plans approved by the board of directors.
  5. Delivery and customers: Oversee design, delivery, and quality of programs and services. Ensure the delivery of high quality products in order to maintain client satisfaction and address complaints made by clients. Stay abreast of current trends related to the organization’s products and services and anticipate future trends likely to have an impact on its work. Collect and analyze evaluation information that measures the success of the organization’s program efforts; refine or change programs in response to that information.
  6. People: Select (after approval by the Board) and oversee the management team. Work closely with each Department Manager to find solutions to personnel issues, oversee and approve the company’s human resources policy and processes. Promote company’s culture and values and act as a role model for its employees, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity. Evaluate the organization’s and the staff’s performance on a regular basis.

Job specifications:

  • Graduate Degree, Masters / Doctorate desirable
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and benefits administration
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with a board of directors and committees
  • Fluent in English
  • Renowned expertise within the country

  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to cope with change and crisis situations
  • Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
